Employment misbehavior is not when an employee is unproductive, fails to follow minor standards, or breaks minor rules. But when their bad outlook affects their work or that of their co-workforce, it becomes a serious issue. Do not make this oral notice threatening. Keep Your Termination Form Short and to the Point. Be quick to examine any insubordination. Since you documented everything, it will be hard for them to turn around and say they were sacked for no reason. If you're not going to enforce other rules, what is to make the worker decide to wear proper safety equipment and to follow other safety methods? If it becomes a public matter or if the offending photo contains anything that identifies the company, you're probably in the clear as well.

For example, the supervisor may think the jobholder has some insights into the department's declining group spirit and can assist you devise a question to get this information. This gives you a substantial legal document if the worker later decides to file a suit in court. If you don't call the jobholder to the table for telling these little white lies, he or she thinks it is acceptable to lie to you and that it is easy to get away with telling stories. In addition, if the insubordinate employee is violating safety processes and hurts someone, a court will find you liable. First, you should become knowledgeable about employee separations. Also, it is important the worker was separated for no fault of their own, so if the jobholder was laid off because of a remedial reason it may keep them from receiving unemployment. If you don't have a firm handbook, you can always post worker rules in the common areas of the office.
